BioWare has announced via an official release trailer that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will release on October 31, 2024. The release date was confirmed by BioWare after it was initially leaked hours earlier.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard Official Release Trailer
The Dragon Age: The Veilguard release trailer seems to immediately follow the events of the official gameplay reveal that was released to fans back in June, and shines a little more light on what we can expect from the story. Solus has returned, determined to break open the veil and return the elves to their past glory. After the player interrupts Solus’s ritual which releases two powerful elven gods into the world, Elgar’nan and Ghilan’nain, it now seems as if it’s up to you to stop them from destroying everything.
The release trailer also shows us more of the potential companions that we can expect to be joining in on the adventure. Companions and allies have always been critical to the Dragon Age series, a pillar that remains on the forefront in this latest installment. Dragon Age: The Veilguard will offer seven companions to play alongside, including Lace Harding who fans will remember from when she first appeared in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Fan of the series should ensure that they have their pumpkins carved and candy collected early this Halloween, as they won’t want to miss the long-awaited return into the Dragon Age universe – nearly a decade in the making. Dragon Age: The Veilguard will release on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
